Tradition Lacrosse will again be coordinating Garden City unit participation in the Nassau/Suffolk Police Athletic League (PAL) Long Island Lacrosse League for the upcoming Spring 2024 season. The season will begin Friday, March 22nd for 3rd – 6th graders and April 7th for Kindergarten – 2nd graders.
FORMAT
- K – 1st Grade – weekly Sunday AM one hour clinics on SUNDAYS from 9:30 to 10:30 at St. Pauls led by GCHS Varsity Girls Lax players and parent volunteers
- 2nd Grade – “house league” small-sided games, specialized clinics, continued skill development and introductory rules/positional coaching in addition to an exposure to officiated full 12 v. 12 games toward the latter part of the Spring. Games will be Sundays 10:30 – 11:30 (10:15am arrival at St. Pauls).
- 3rd – 6th Grade – team participation in Nassau/Suffolk league with weekly practices on Friday evenings and games vs. other PAL town units (schedule TBD)
PAL COST BREAKDOWN
K-1st Grade: $100 includes PAL fees, t-shirts, field permits, equipment
2nd Grade (2034): $150 includes PAL fees, t-shirts, field permits, equipment, specialized instruction, referee costs
3rd Grade (2033): $175 includes PAL fees, field permits, equipment, and new uniforms (GC reversible jersey, skirt and socks)
4th – 6th Grade (2032 – 2030): $150 includes PAL fees, field permits, equipment (new uniform is available for $25 surcharge)
*All registrations include $20 contribution to support GCHS Varsity Girls Lacrosse Team
